Have a Holly Jolly Christmas

Okay so i´m going to write this email all in order of what happened this week. starting with last Monday. this is a packed week with email content and i will probably forget somethings, so i´m going to try to be thourall and write it shot by shot.

man i think this could be a little shorter because the guy running the internet cafe seems impatient to close and wants us to leave so he can start his Christmas, that´s understandable.

LEG INJURY
so on Monday when we played american football i crashed into another elder and hurt my leg. he like did a flying knee or something and got me right in the upper thigh, and it hurt a lot. it didn´t get bruised or anything but it hurt and i didn´t play anymore after that.
the next day i woke up and i could barely walk lol. the thing is that the muscle was SUPER sore and i couldn´t bend my leg at the knee like at all. Tuesday morning we walked to the supermarket and it´s only like 2 blocks, but it took me forever. and so i had to lock my leg completely straight and i walked on it like that for a good while. and after a few days my knee joint started to hurt because i was locking my leg all the time and walking on it. and that day we went all the away to torreon! for the Christmas activitiy! and i couldn´t walk all that! i tried walking but instead we just took the bus, but then when we got off the bus i had to walk again! and get a taxi! and then we finally got to the activity and we played games and ate food and we watched Christmas videos and had a reenactment of the birth of Christ. i felt the spirit a lot in the videos that we watched it was really good. after words we had a gift exchange and elder Sandoval got me two protein bars and some fancy athletic socks. also, the whole zone got really cool red wolk sweatshirts. then when we left the activity we couldn´t get a bus back to chaves in time so we had to stay the night in the officies, woo sleepover! except i was SO TIRED. i went into the offices, found the packages that had been sent to me, thanks mom, and then took off all my clothes and went straight to bed. i know it was supposed to be a break for us to have the activity and all that, but man i felt exhausted. like honestly i felt feverish, like as if i might get a fever from being so tired. and the next day was pretty much the same lever of tired. REALLY TIRED. and elder stevenson was really tired too. it took us like 3 days to recover completely, i don´t know what happened but i´m not exaggerating. we kept working and all that, but it wasn´t until like Friday that i felt normal again, and even then my leg was still janky. President cantera looked at it and he (the branch president) gave me some injections, and some icy hot gel. which actually helped a lot. i think maybe if he hadn´t helped me out i could have gotten a knee injury from walking on it bad.
it doesn´t feel exactly like Christmas, but it doesn´t feel like the mission either, this has been a strange week for me. but i think i´m enjoying it over all. We had some really pretty days, some great experiences. Felt the spirit a lot in the lessons that we had. i´ve also felt stressed. like, Christmas feels kind of stressfull for me in the mission man. like today, four families invited us to eat with them tonight! and i said yes to all of them. and we have it all planned out, but we have to travel for like an hour there and an hour back to one cita, and everyone is going to be like "no don´t leave us" and i´ll be like, "punk this ain´t your Christmas" actually it totally is their Christmas. but i´ve got to go because if we don´t, the other families will feel left out.
okay well i´m gonna let this nice man enjoy his Christmas and get out of his internet cafe. i wish you all a very happy Christmas.! god loves ya and he thinks you are just swell. he can heal anything! man he can heal a blind dude! and he can heal your hurt feelings too! or a tummy ache! or even the crushing guilt that you feel every Christmas for eating so much desert. hohoho!
have a good one
