Muscle Boys Go!

I started teaching elder Saico some good phrases in english, he wants to go to school in America. One of the phrases that i tried to teach him was "Doof McMuffin, the greatest horseman that ever lived." but it didn´t stick. So this week we made a new power phrase, following our secret handshake, we throw our hands in the air and shout, "Muscle Boys Go!" At first he didn´t like it, but he began to realize that he could get me to laugh every time he says it, and so he uses it now to encourage me.

Use Humor
Earlier today i received some revelation that i was really needing. This has been a hard week actually. I´ve just been feeling grumpy and kind of stressed. And last night i had the funniest dream. I was hanging out with a bunch of guys from the NBA and they were just joking around, and in my dream i thought they were Sooo funny. like I’m almost sure that i laughed in my sleep. and i woke up and we went and bought groceries and i ate really well. i mixed scrambled eggs with chorizo and i ate it with saltine crackers, and a bowl of corn flakes and a really good mango on the side. (BTW mangos are like 20 pesos to the kilo at Walmart, that´s like 50 cents a pound. just think about that.)
after i ate that stuff, i went and i sat down on my bed and i grabbed a pen and paper and I started to receive revelation. And God told me that i should make myself laugh more. And it´s really true, and he told me a few ways that i could do it. And so i´m gonna put the goal to make myself laugh all the days.

assignment from the bishop
yesterday the bishop called a spontaneous mission counsel, all the ward missionaries were there and the bishopric, and ward mission leader, and us. and we shared some of the ideas that we had, and we mentioned that we had thought about doing a class to teach members how to do missionary work, and then the bishop spontaneously was like, "great idea! next Sunday you are going to present this class to the whole congregation! do you want 1 hour or 2? we´ll give you two!"
and so now we have to prepare a big fat awesome class on missionary work, and it´s a little overwhelming but i think it´ll turn out GREAT.

FUTBOL
hey there´s a world cup in Russia! everybody is talking about it. Mexico is doing well i think. they could win it?? i think? it´s possible, i´d really like to be in Mexico when they win the world cup. it´s a really big deal here.

Missionarying
Well this area is still kind of dry, we are working on getting some investigators that keep their commitments. There is this one guy, Zeferino, and he accepted a baptismal date and he seemed really excited about changing his life and making God the center of his life, and then out of nowhere he just disappears. He might actually be super busy, but i think he´s started to avoid us. It kind of stinks but whatever.
We have been using members a lot better in the last few days, members are powerful dude. the coolest thing about members is that they are so excited. like, as missionaries we are tired  a lot of the time. like we know what we are doing, but when we talk to someone in the street, it´s like the ten thousandth time I’ve done that, and members are like, "woaah! missionary work!"

Well! be really happy all of you!
