weekly mexico email from Elder Grilliot

we had a mexico conference this week. rasband and other general authorities spoke to all of mexico. some interesting things from the conference.. lynn g robbins gave a talk about the importance of a temple reccomend. he never said, "if you have a current temple reccomend when you die, you are garenteed to enter the celestial kingdom" but he came really close to saying it. he compared it to a "celestial diploma" that shows that you are qualified for the celestial kingdom, and he said that the oil of the 5 wise virgins is your temple reccomend, and he told a joke about how in the kingdom of heaven they will ask you to slide your temple recommend under the door. after the story, he said, "that´s a joke... but seriously it might really be like that". and the hna michel d craig had a quote that i really liked, she said "god guides our steps when whe move our feet." the whole conference was in spanish. the only person who used a translator was elder rasband. that was something new. i´d never seen a conference like that before. i have more to say but i´ll save it for next week.  witchcraft story! with pictures! real mexican withcraft! stay tuned in folks! and a cool lesson that we taught with a family. maybe the most stressfull lesson in my mission! love you guys!
